Washable 8 x 10 ft Area Rug with Soft Surface TPR Floor Backing
Product details
Soft Surface Under Furniture
This 8 x 10 rectangular area rug has a soft surface with a 0.23 in short surface texture. A multi-layer cotton layout sits under the top surface to give the rug a fuller feel without adding thick height. The 2.9 lb weight keeps the rug manageable when moving it between rooms. TPR backing covers the underside for floor contact on living room, bedroom, kitchen, office, or playroom floors.
Backing That Stays Placed
The underside uses upgraded TPR backing across the full 8 x 10 ft rug base. This backing helps reduce sliding during normal foot traffic on flat indoor floors. The 0.23 in surface height keeps the rug closer to the floor under chairs, tables, and entryway furniture. Its rectangular shape gives broad coverage for seating areas, bedrooms, kitchens, nurseries, and office spaces. Multi-layer material gives the top a soft texture for kids, pets, and household walking areas.
Cold Wash Rug Care
For deeper cleaning, the 8 x 10 rug can be machine washed in cold water with mild detergent. The 2.9 lb weight makes the rug simpler to lift compared with heavier floor coverings of the same rectangular size. A vacuum may be used with a soft roller head or dusting brush on the lowest setting. Bleach should not be used on the printed pattern. After washing, air dry the rug or tumble dry on a no-heat air-only cycle. Creases from folding can flatten after the surface has been opened and left in place.
