Natural Jute Rope for Outdoor Railing, Swing, Crafts 1, 1.5 and 2 in
Product details
For Your Projects
This natural jute rope is designed for outdoor railings, porch swings, tree projects, and nautical-style decorating where structure and natural texture matter. Each size uses a 4-strand weave for solid hold and consistent fiber tension, helping maintain shape during tying and wrapping. The rope features a sandy-brown finish that blends with wood decks, cabins, gardens, and coastal themes. Treated for flexibility, it handles bends and knots without stiffness.
Holds Its Shape
Made from natural jute plant stem fibers, each strand is spun and braided to a firm, uniform diameter that stays round under load. Various diameter and length options are available, supporting applications from trim and craft work to railing support and tug activities. Average breaking strengths range from approximately 1450 lbs to 5450 lbs depending on size.
Built to Work Easily
Setup is straightforward whether wrapping railing posts, hanging porch seating, or outlining a nautical accent wall. The rope surface offers grip during manual tightening and tool use. It can be cut with common utility tools and finished with tape or lashing to prevent fray. Storage is simple with a coiled format that fits shelves or bins. Cleanup requires only dry brushing or shaking to remove dust after outdoor exposure. Suitable for seasonal setups or permanent installations based on placement and handling.
