Handwoven Macrame Hammock Swing Chair with Hanging Hardware Kit
Product details
A Small Seat with Big Backyard Character
This macrame hammock chair combines handwoven cotton rope with a steel support ring to create a suspended seating option. The open-weave construction offers a distinctive appearance compared to traditional fabric sling chairs and bulky freestanding seating. Available in medium and large sizes, the chair accommodates different installation locations and space requirements. The medium version supports up to 230 lb, while the large version supports up to 265 lb. Braided suspension ropes connect to reinforced steel ring for hanging from compatible mounting points.
Hanging Around the Patio
The chair can be installed using the included hardware kit on ceiling beams, porch structures, swing frames, or suitable tree branches. Depending on the mounting method, it can be suspended from a single point for rotational movement or from two points for a forward-and-back swing motion. The woven cotton rope seat promotes airflow through the structure compared to solid-seat alternatives. Its compact hanging design helps preserve floor space while creating an additional seating area. The chair works well in covered patios, balconies, reading corners, backyard seating zones, garden retreats, and porch layouts. Decorative fringe details and a circular frame create a finished appearance without requiring additional cushions or accessories.
Packed Up Until Next Time
Assembly consists of attaching the supplied hanging hardware and hanging the chair to an appropriate support point. Cotton rope surfaces can be spot cleaned and air dried when needed. When not in use, the chair can be removed from its mounting location and stored in a closet, garage, storage bench, or utility area. The suspended design eliminates the need for large folding mechanisms or bulky storage components. Included mounting accessories help keep installation components organized for future use.
