118x71 Inch Retractable Side Awning Outdoor Patio Privacy Screen
Product details
Extend Privacy Without Permanent Walls
This retractable side awning creates a defined screen between seating, dining, or garden areas without adding permanent structures. The frame combines aluminum and metal components with a PU-coated woven fabric panel measuring 118 x 71 inch. Compared with fixed privacy panels, the retractable design stores inside a 3.5 inch housing when not extended. The angled support bar helps keep the fabric stretched across its full span during use. UV-resistant and water-resistant fabric supports everyday patio, deck, and backyard installations while remaining wipeable for routine cleaning.
Pull, Position, and Retract
The telescopic handle pulls the fabric smoothly from the wall-mounted housing to the receiving post on the opposite side. Once connected, the screen forms a 118 inch wide divider between outdoor spaces. Releasing the latch allows the spring-assisted mechanism to guide the fabric back into the aluminum cassette. The system mounts to a wall while the receiving post fastens to concrete, hardwood, or patio surfaces. The retractable layout works alongside outdoor seating areas, walkways, garden sections, and outdoor cooking spaces without occupying permanent floor space.
Store Neatly Between Outdoor Uses
Installation requires drilling into a suitable wall surface with a minimum mounting width of 4.5 inch, while 5 inch or greater is recommended. The mounting wall should measure at least 62.2 inch high and remain free from ledges or similar obstructions. During periods of strong wind, heavy rain, or blizzard conditions, the fabric should be retracted into the housing. When stored, only the slim 3.5 inch wall cassette remains visible against the mounting surface. The wipeable fabric and enclosed housing simplify routine outdoor maintenance between uses.
